| Are there any differences in behaviour between males and females. I know with my rats that the females were always more on the go compared to the laid back males. I have found two males aged 11 months at a rehoming section of pets@home as my local rescues do not have any at the mo. They also have four babies about 10 weeks old. It's such a hard descision to make. |

I used to have rats so know exactly what you mean but i don't think there is much difference in my experience with degus. Some people say males will fight but if they are siblings its highly unlikely and in 11 years i've only had to seperate twice and in both instances one of the degus turned out to be poorly. I prefer males personally and they are what i have but both are pretty laid back _________________
